Maybe I am not familiar enough with other classes, but last time I checked Mages didn’t have to farm a reagent in order to Sheep someone or Locks to fear/skillcoil someone. Why do Rogues need to farm a reagent in order to use there poor, high cooldown, breaks when hit by a feather CC. I have created this post before and I am doing it again because of how ridicules this subject is.

In the PTR Blinding Powder was removed and Blind would no longer require a reagent. A week later, with no explanation, that was removed, why? Because Rogues will actually use that skill unsparingly?

I Arena constantly and participate in duels and Battlegrounds consistently. I can go through 60 to 80 Blinding Powder in a day. How long does that take to farm? Running through an instance pick pocketing everything it takes a little under two hours. I don’t have time to farm Blinding Powder as often as I need to PvP. Yeah leveling to 70 psssh I get enough Blinding Powder that is fine, but once I hit 70 I am done leveling. I went from pick pocketing constantly to almost never. I never have Blinding Powder now.

Blind is a last resort move, and the reason being, I don’t want to farm for hours to get Blinding powder again. I guarantee that if the other classes had to farm reagents in order to use a common PvP ability there would be uproar all over the forums.

Please once again remove Blinding Powder from the game or make it purchasable for the same price as Flash Powder. Let us use our abilities without farming hours to do so.

I'm not sure why the change may have been implemented and then removed, there could be any number of reasons. I don't think it's really an important question at the moment though as the change is still planned to go in.

In 2.3 Blind will no longer require a reagent. It will also be changed to a physical attack, will share the same diminish category as Cyclone, and diminish in PvE as well as PvP.

Q u o t e:

Physical ranged, or physical melee

The latter would be a substantial nerf to the ability.

Technically it's still a ranged attack that is part of the nature spell school, it just isn't a poison anymore.

(edit) Scratch that, we've updated it to be a ranged physical attack (also no longer counts as a poison).
