Blade Twisting = Raid Utility???

I was thinking about the BC talent/skills and something popped into my head. After removing it (a painful task) i decided to put it on the forums.

Blade Twisting 5/5. Your SS, BS, Gouge, Shiv abilities have a 25% chance to Daze the target for 8sec.

at first glance it seems like a pvp talent w/ very little pve use. however... i was looking at the warrior talent/skills and saw this.

The new Heroic Strike causes additional damage (ie more threat) to dazed targets.

now most ppl saw that as simply a synergy change to go along w/ the new Shield Bash (which dazes the target), but that's on a 12 sec cooldown. If a rogue (preferably a SSing rogue), was spamming SS he could have the target dazed most of the time, thus freeing the tank to spam the improved Heroic STrikes (after the inital sunders) for more threat.

just an observation i made :) comments ?

That is an astute observation Cuctema. Its intended use is more or less exactly as you described in PvE situations, and we're currently looking into the possibility of allowing a daze effect to affect types of mobs and encounters where they previously may not have been.

Q u o t e:
Though it's true that it will be useful in PVE in a raid sense, how does that benefit a rogue?

It could help to benefit the raid. Selfish much?
