Mechanical Chicken - Blue Tracker

I need a GM's help. Now that non combat pets are turning into spells, I'm trying to collect all of the pets that I can. I'd like to get the Mechanical Chicken, which requires that you've done the three mechanical chicken escorts in Tanaris, Hinterlands, and Feralas. Unfortunately, it's been so long ago that I have quested in those zones that I do not know which escorts I have done and which ones I have not done. It isn't a trivial matter of just going to the quest giver since the item that starts the escort is a random drop in each of those zones. I don't mind doing a ton of grinding for the item drop, but I don't want to be grinding in a zone that I've already done the escort in (and thus, my chances of the item dropping would be 0% and I wouldn't even know it).

So, in summary, could a GM check this character (Hinomiko of Stormreaver) and let me know which chicken escorts I have/have not done? I know this might be considered an in game hint -- but please consider this, I have no way of finding out which escorts I've missed in game :(. I hope you can provide some help. Thanks for reading.

It is unlikely that they'd be able to provide you the answer, Kantankerus, technically, yes, that could be considered a game hint. You've been on the forums for awhile now, you know we are sometimes able to provide information that you wouldn't necessarily get by submitting a petition. :) Not always, but sometimes.

Kapowder, looks like you've turned this in completely.

You probably want to contact a Game Master through an ingame petition and inquire about a possible quest reward restoration.

My problem is a little different. I know that I have completed 2 out the 3. When doing the Feralas escort, I lagged and the chicken got away causing me to fail the quest. I abandoned the quest and went back to the chicken, but it wouldn't offer me the escort portion again. What do I need to do to restart this portion. I hope I havent lost my chance at getting this pet.

You may want to revisit the chicken. Sometimes if you abandon a quest very close to the NPC, it won't update right away. Relogging or leaving the area and returning normally resolves that.

Do put in a petition however if you find that is not the case.

Happy to look this up for you, but we have far newer threads than this one on this subject.

Anyway, Feralas is done. Tanaris, looks like you need to head back to the chicken, and I'm not seeing Hinterlands at all yet.
