Will there still be 40 man groups in WotLK?

Excuse my ignorance, I haven't played this game in months...

But I heard a while back that blizz was planning to remove 40 man groups/raids. Did this get implemented or not? Hopefully that idea was scrapped - I want to try 40man BWL at level 80 or something of that nature =P

You can still bring up to 40 people to places like Blackwing Lair and Ahn'Qiraj, but obviously you don't need that many to beat the bosses at level 80. The raid dungeons in Wrath of the Lich King will be for 10 and 25 person groups.
