Billing issue

I tried to log into my WoW account: *********** however I could not log in. It said that my prepaid time had expired.

I have my billing set to auto bill my CC every 6 months.

I have been paying with the same credit card for the last several years so I do not see that as the issue.

I have also tried another credit card and Paypal which don't seem to be working either.

I am presuming this is an issue with blizzard's billing system.

When can I expect this to be fixed because waiting till monday when your phone lines are open is simply unacceptable.

Is it Billing day for you?

If it is, it can take a little bit for the system to update. Shouldn't take too long once the process completes.

If you continue to experience issues, please contact our Billing department.

Q u o t e:
A blue post with some more information about this would be nice. I understand the billing department is closed but there has to be someone that can look into this as it's not fair to those of us having the problem.

If I was able to assist in resolving the issue, I would already have done so.

This is something that our Billing department will need to look into for you.

About the way around listed on page 2 (buy a pre paid card):
if we buy a card will we find oursleves paying twice ?

It is entirely possible that you will be charged twice this month; however, the game time will stack appropriately. To be clear, if your credit card has been charged for game time and you enter a 30-day game time code you will be credited for both purchases and 60 days of game time will be added to your account. This is, of course, assuming that the credit card has already been charged.

If you elect to take this route, please feel free to contact Billing and Account Services during normal business hours for additional information regarding your game time.

Does Blizz even read any of this??

Why wouldn't we?

That more players are announcing their troubles and concerns does pluck the heart strings with greater force, but it won't expedite resolution. Should there be any updates, they'll be provided quite quickly; unfortunately, there are no updates to provide at present. :)

I hope this doesn't translate into "It is the weekend and there is no one around to look into this so we can't provide you with any updates."

Oh dear. No, not at all. :)

Technical resolutions aren't often the most time-friendly procedures. Although our Technicians are diligently working to get our systems again functioning properly (and as quickly as possible), there's no new news to provide right now.

So there is no ETA at all??? If it doesn't look like it will be fixed until tomorrow please let us know so we are not all sitting here with baited breath, alt-tabing back and forth to see if we can log in yet.

The ETA is ASAP.

Ok so what your telling me, is Right now at this moment in time you have people trying to help us?

Exactly what I'm saying. :)

Q u o t e:
I just feel like i got patted on the head by some one who's account has not been turned off for no good reason.

I'm very sorry you feel as though my response was patronizing, Pandorah. I've no reason to be anything but frank and honest with those of you presently affected by this frustrating issue.

My statement holds true, though: while neither Aredek nor I may possess minute-by-minute updates, we do take care to read and review every post provided herein. Unfortunately, asking for an immediate resolution won't simply poof one into existence; I only wish it were so. =/

Q u o t e:
Can we please have an update as to what has been done and what needs to be done?

Our Technicians have isolated the source of the issue and are presently work to correct its effects. We hope to have this systemic shindig—yup, totally on our end—resolved ASAP. There's no ETA available, however, as our Techs are still sorting matters out.

My theory on the whole thing is We pay for 24 hour play, we should get 24 hour service.

Billing may not be in currently, Vilerogue—and for any frustration or added stress this if causing you, I do apologize. This issue is being addressed, though, regardless of Billing's office hours.

Get someone who can fix it to get off their duff, come into work and fix it. That's what customer service does.

That's what someone is doing right now, Hellkat.

It's quite likely that these payments are being addressed in batches, one or so at a time. I'm gaining confirmation right now as to whether this is fact, as well as when this process will be completed. :)

Alright, let's give it about 20 to 30 minutes for everything (all transactions) to finish processing.
