I hear alot of info abut zone now having phases as you go through them in questing wrath, I'm told that Ice Crown is one of these zones and its supposedly pretty great. What exactly is zone phasing and is it going to become a big part of WoW in the future?
In essence, making the game experience reflect accomplishments you have completed, by showing the impact you have on the world around you. Thus making the world more immersive and dynamic. It’s really… really cool.

It sounds like it could be jarring when you take a step back and look at the whole thing. I enjoyed the feeling of a progressive regional story in the draenei starting area, but it seems like a weird concept to include in the areas people will spend a lot of time in.
It is actually accomplished so subtlety that the experience is seamless.
