I think this will be one unintended consequence to these transfers.

World of Melee-craft was already in full effect, and seriously, who would move their shirt wearing character over to a PvP realm to get beat on non-stop?

I do bet that most people are pulling their leveled melee classes over though.
Why not, top of the PvP food chain already.. and you don't even have to level there any more.
One of the only joys I got as a casting class was ganking the crap out of lowbie melee classes.
And I can't evne do that any more because who in their right mind would ever level on a PvP realm again?

You thought Tanks were hard to come by on PvP realms now... wait till you can't find ranged DPS outside of hunters. That should make raiding even more fun.

Being that I've played a Priest on a PvP realm from the start of World of Warcraft, I can assure you that casters are fine.

There is a perpetuation of some myths about the PvP realms that I keep seeing in many of these types of threads, and that is that PvP realms are soley about ganking lowbies. While ganking can and does happen, leveling on a PvP realm is not only possible, but often very fun because of the added risks that go along with it. I chalk these up to extra challenges.

While some players may feel the urge to come on over and try a little ganking, I think they'll find that the idea grows old without finding some REAL competition that can do a little fighting back.

So far there has been a lot of overreaction to this new allowance, which while expected, really is getting a bit too out of kilter with some of these sorts of frenzied and over the top alarmist posts.

I'd like to encourage everyone that wants to discuss these transfers to please start finding existing threads to post in and to refrain from over the top, alarmist posting. Feedback is always welcome, but the insults toward others and ourselves is a bit much and definitely goes against the Code of Conduct on these forums.
