We’ve received some reports with confusion regarding e-mail receipts sent as part of PTR testing of the in-game store feature. After making a purchase using test currency (XTS) on the 5.4 test realm, you may receive an e-mail receipt thanking you for your purchase and listing the amount spent in XTS.

Please be aware that this message is only being sent as part of the testing process and that you have not actually been charged. The test currency used on the PTR does not affect any actual currency (including your Battle.net Balance) in any way, and is used to allow us to test our store infrastructure without requiring an actual purchase. The email receipts being sent are part of that infrastructure.
