This is kind of a confusing question as I get lost while trying to explain it. However, I need som answers on whats going on

Saturday I created a new account for my stepson using an old Pre BC WoW 10 day trial authentication key. We are linked for RAF and recieving the bonus exp benifets.

However, I upgraded his account, downloaded (and paid for) Burning Crusade, installed it and then bought him 3 months game time... then immediatley cancled it so my card would not auto renew when the time comes.

Heres the confusing part...

So after I purchased the time.. his account said he had 3 months. After I cancelled, his account does not say he has 3 months.

So did I cancel to soon? When I open my account page, it shows that his account is linked to mine and shows that he has a standard (normal) account but I dont have my zhvera mount. Also, when we play together (since last night) he still has trial restrictions (no trade, mail, AH)

Can you tell me what happened? I thought I purchased time.. did I cancel it to soon? Do we have to waiut for the 10 days to be over? Grrr.. confused

Q u o t e:
You won't get your mount until the free month is over and you are actually charged for the 3-month subscription.

You could add a 60-day or greater Game Card to his account to get your mount immediately.

Precisely. :)

Recruit accounts are awarded a 30-day free credit once upgraded. If payment for the recurring subscription is provided by CC, PaymentOne, or PayPal, the recruit account will not be charged until the 30-day credit expires. On top of this, this credit will not actually apply until the trial time expires, too. Veteran accounts will usually become eligible in 40 days this way.

Pre-paid game cards and time codes, though, "jump to the head of line." They basically bypass the remaining trial time and 30-day credit, allowing the veteran account to qualify for the Zhevra mount immediately.

Ok, so do I have to wait until after the 10 day trial passes to recieve my 30 days free?

The recruit account will receive the 30-day credit once the remaining trial time expires. You'll receive your 30-day credit once your recruit enters his first billing cycle. This is likely when you'll become eligible for your Zhevra mount, as well.

Q u o t e:
Also.. when will his account be lifted of the trial restrictions? after 10 days even though I upgraded his account?

It can take up to 72 hours for the purchase to be verified. :)
