Account closed with no email notification

Can a blue please elaborate as to why One of my accounts has just received an:

Access to this World of Warcraft account has been disabled by Blizzard Entertainment. For more information, including the amount of time it will be in place, please check the email address registered on the account. All information and any updates on the account will have been sent there by the Account Administration team. Please be sure to check "junk" or "spam" folders as well, since notification emails may have been routed there as well.

Possible reasons for this account status may include:


Temporarily locked because of an ownership dispute.
Temporarily suspended for breaking Terms of Use or game policy.
Permanently banned for more serious violations
Temporarily locked by Billing due to possible fraudulent activity.
If the account received a temporary suspension, and you believe the duration of the suspension has expired, please first attempt to log in to the World of Warcraft game client software before logging in to the Account Management site.

Any questions, disputes, or escalations regarding an account ban or suspension, must be emailed directly to the Account Administration team at [email protected].

I was never email anything on this I went to log on last night shocked to see it was closed.

It looks like the notice was sent out on the 4th, when the account was closed, Iceols. Your e-mail was received by Account Administration and they will look into this case. It is likely that your account was compromised and one they are able to confirm that they'll be able to overturn the closure.

Check your spam filter and junk folder for the e-mail we sent. If you can't find it follow these directions and let me know, I can resend the e-mail for you.

No, the e-mail about the account closure is regarding the account you posted, Katizua on Skywall.

It looks like the person who may have compromised that account was able to violate the Terms of Use before they were stopped and it doesn't look like that happened on this account. That is probably why this one wasn't closed but that one was.

The odd thing is I don't see an e-mail being sent regarding this accounts restoration but I do about Katizua, although a preliminary and final restoration was done on your posting account.

I've resent the closure e-mail.

addons are permitted, Iceols. :)

What it means is what I already said, while someone was on the account they violated the Terms of Use which resulted in the closure of the account.

You have e-mailed our Account Administration Department and they will review your case and see if the closure can be overturned as soon as possible.
