The supposed "random" beta selection

I'm not calling it a "conspiracy" I'm just calling it a lie. It is well known the Blizzard, in the past, has extended beta invites to the high progression guilds and GM's first and foremost. So why did they this time around decide to leave out that little fact and tell everyone that people who get beta invites are "randomly selected".
Sure, there are some randomly selection individuals, but the selection process goes something like:

Blizzcon attendees
High progression guilds
GM's
Random selection pool

Players from the opt-in pool are selected at random. That doesn't mean everyone with a beta key was randomly selected. That doesn't make anything we've said a lie.
