Illidan Bugged - Did not Receive Loot

Tonight (8/12/2007) my guild Colonial Space Marines of Destromath defeated the Illidan encounter inside black temple. (our Raid ID is 1144917). However, the body of illidan instantly de-spawned and we were unable to recover any loot from him. If you go to our instance you will notice that Illidan (obviously) is not present nor is Akama. I have multiple screen shots of the even taking place in addition to combat logs. There is also a fraps of the kill which we will release soon.

We have opened a petition with the in game support, however the specialist says he is "unable to find the kill shot" despite multiple screen shots, combat logs, and even a video.

All we want is the loot we rightfully deserve. Below you will find the link which contains said screen shots.

In addition, I have spoken to a number of guilds that have defeated this encounter and have had this exact same issue. Their loot was awarded to them under the same circumstances.

Korzik, I believe the kill shot couldn’t be found by the Game Master you spoke to earlier because no one in your raid successfully killed Illidan. I am afraid, after searching many records, I have found the reason for your guilds pain, Korzik.

Illidan was then killed at 2007/08/13 03:09:19, while no one from your raid was left alive, and or on the tap list. :0(

Now from your very own screenshots: (http://www.nascentguild.com/illidan/illidan_combat_log_death.jpg) you can see that this about lines up with the kills of Darkspectre and Atena. After those two die, your screen shot shows that Illidan Stormrage dies. Unfortunately the problem herein lies that all your characters were dead, and, as you yourself told Zelf moments after Illidan was killed, “Maiev Shadowsong killed him.” This is again shown in one of your own screen shots, the one where Kenix says “Maiev for the win!!!” Even Finite sends a whisper out to someone talking about your party about to wipe at 3%.

This is an extremely unfortunate turn of events, and I am very sorry that it has come to this end, but the Game Master Department will not be able to give you the items off of this event, Korzik even if you “have a few friends that are Game Masters” as you told your guild when trying to decide who should petition in to get this looked into.

Never the less, this is an unfortunate circumstance you find yourself in, Korzik. For that, I am truly sorry.

Folks I just wanted to present an update for this. Our Quality Assurance Team is currently looking into this encounter and deciding on the best way to address how this encounter plays out and what changes if any need to be made.

Now what this means to you, Korzik, and the other members of the Colonial Space Marines who were on the read is the issue may be able to be revisited. If that happens we may be able to assist in some way. Although I must stress that nothing is guaranteed you will be contact if something can be done.
