Issues with Logging in

Sure thing, Bluebear, if you can figure out a way to make all computers and electronic devices to work perfectly at all times we'll be certain to implement it immediately.

Our technicians are looking into these reports but if some players can connect to a specific realm but some can't it is usually an issue with the route you are taking, not usually with Blizzard itself.

Balguen server, same problem, lagged then was booted, then coulnt log into server, can get on any other char on any other server.

I shouldnt have to learn to trace ip routes to play a game, it should be fixed soon hopefully.

Actually no, Mechamaster, the issue earlier today was completely different. I understand that you may not be knowledgeable when it comes to how the internet works but please don't use ignorance of an issue as an excuse to call us lazy or think the issue is related to another just because it has to do with you being unable to connect to a realm.

If the issue was with us specifically we would still be doing the same thing, trying to track it down and get it resolved.

I agree that you should be able to just log in and go but there are many routes that you can take to get from point A to point B, that is how the internet works, the route you are taking to that specific realm is having some issues.

I don't take it personally, I understand that people get frustrated and it is easy to lash out at someone who they think has to sit back and take it. I would rather spend my time looking into an issue and try to get updates instead of disputing blatantly false statements.

While this is still being examined Pharcide, at the moment, this appears to be occurring outside of our Network. We've certainly not forgotten about the players experiencing this issue and are still working on a resolution.

While some players are reporting some success resetting their internet connection, it's not working for anyone.

If you are tech savy enough to know how to attempt that, might be worth attempting, but it doesn't always seem to be working.

We are still working to address this issue, not forgotten about you.

Please continue to post your location, ISP you use - and if you know how to do a traceroute to the realm you cannot connect to, that would be helpful as well.

One thing I forgot to mention it may not mean anything but I was in a 25 man raid when it happend and there was another person besides me that it happen to nobody else. The other person it happen to is my 2v2 parner on our 2v2 arena team.

This may not mean anything just trying to give all info I have.

This only seems to be happening to certain players, using certain ISPs - to specific realms.

I've been requested to ask for more traceroutes.

If anyone is able to supply that, I'd be very grateful.

The realms ARE open and many players are on them.

Just seems to be an issue for players with certain providers.

I truly appreciate the patience that each of you have shown. We have contacted the appropriate parties and are currently awaiting resolution. As soon as more information becomes available, I will let you know.

Misconceptions are flying all over the place, folks.

To be clear:

Even though the issue is not directly related to our realms internally, we are working with our contacts to address this issue as quickly as possible. Despite our desire to resolve this immediately, we can only do so much to expedite the issue.

Please remain as patient as possible.

Eredar is currently accessible to many players, Rotinaj. Sadly, however, Internet routing issues appear to be limiting access for several players. We have contacted the parties responsible for the issue and hope a resolution is provided as soon as possible.
