Can't go UNDER Stormwind City anymore??

Some very clever, tenacious and possibly slightly bored level 70 WoW players spent ALOT of hours learning to scale walls to get on top of Stormwinds entrance gate and even UNDER Stormwind itself. As well as getting atop the roof of Goldshire's Inn.

There were many other fun and facinating places too, such as atop the beautiful Northshire waterfalls, where we see the tents and campfires as we fly toward Ironforge from SW.

The "How to.." info was shared with others who, including myself, very much enjoyed the interesting aspects of these little "aside" adventures along less traveled paths.

My question is: What harm did Blizzard see in this activity that made them decide to nerf the ability of players to do this?

It's not necessarily that the location is harmful, just an unintended aspect of World of Warcraft. Usually these areas are unfinished or "flavor text" and so are not meant to be accessible to players. :)
