From December 2004 to the present day there's been one Blizzard release - The Burning Crusade.

Since the expansion we've had a total of 4 patches, one of which was centered around in-game VOICE CHAT and the other three were essentially just fleshing out what could have been in the expansion at release.

The older games have been nearly completely neglected.

I appreciate the quality that Blizzard is committed to, but...seriously?

There may also be lots of things in the pipeline, but even there, they announced SC2 over a year ago and there's been hardly a peep about it since, with no evidence that they're anywhere closer to release than they were back then.

10,000,000 subscribers and this is the amount of content they generate with that revenue?

Our company has been rapidly growing since the release of World of Warcraft. We've got a great pool of very talented people working hard every day to keep this company running, and keep our games as fun as possible. Right now we have four projects in development at once. This is a record for us and you can expect to see some great content released in the future, starting with Wrath of the Lich King.

Some of the new games currently in the works have been in development since before the release of World of Warcraft. While having more revenue does give us the opportunity to keep multiple departments and development teams hard at work simultaneously, it's not necessarily going to speed up the creation of solid and immersive game play.

I would love to guide you around our campus and show you all of the work that goes into making Blizzard Entertainment a really cool and accomplished company. Though this is not currently a possibility, I think if you really looked around at all that our company does each week (mind you we're maintaining a presence in multiple regions around the world while still expanding to others), you would get a sense that we're using our success to continue to provide fun gaming to as many people as possible.

I speak truth. :)

Though now that you bring it up, why is there so little behind the scenes stuff with the Blizzard?

Even though we've been here at the campus since last November, we're still largely making the place our own. While you can find quite a few walk-throughs and articles about our headquarters, I think it's safe to say you can expect to see more about our place of business as time passes.

Subject: $500,000,000 in profits and you can't hire more CMs?
