Do you play wow for lore or for an mmo

What I mean by this is do you play this game just as a filer for an mmo or do you actually play to continue the storyline(not like a big rpg nerd kind of thing) But to actually feel apart oft he story line. I bring it up because I came to realizing a while back naxx is getting removed from epl and it kinda brought my spirits down :(

edit: my attention span followed the lore a lot better in the RTS warcrafts. Anyone that has followed even 50% of the lore of WoW has read the equivalent of a 500 page novel of quest dialog.

Well thankfully I have enjoyed reading thousands of pages in various novels, another couple hundred can't hurt. ;-)
