Why do 2v2 and 3v3 Arena yield less points?

I don't understand why 5v5 arena gives more points than any other. 5v5 seems to be mostly dependent on gear, healers, raiding guilds, and gear. 2v2 seems to me to be the most skill based arena, and I'm not understanding why it gives less points.

Will this ever be changed?

In a fashion, this is correct. The devs are wary of 2v2 super-combos which might occur in arenas.

While the possibility exists for clear-cut advantage of group combos in a 2v2 setting, allowing a 2v2 team to generate the same, or possibly more, arena points than a 5v5 group is a fast path to the rewards. This then encourages teams to go 2v2, as fielding a larger team confers nothing extra.

again blizzard you miss the point by posting your own version of reality or lack thereof.

"the devs are wary of 2v2 super-combos which might occur in arenas"

are you folks blind? i have a different word but the post might be deleted. you "devs" are clueless if you think the super-combos as you put it arent happening on a regular basis.

how about if i use devs are baffled and out of touch with your statement TSERIC, since the context is exactly that, "devs are clueless" to the goings on in arena with your post.

that being said arenas are great fun, just unbalanced and super combo loaded as hell.

Nowhere did I say that these super-combos didn't exist or that people might not be relying on them.

Take a deep breath.
