No new servers in over 3 months, when they have been released nearly every month since the game began I am beginning to think WoW is finally starting to wear down and lose its appeal for a LOT of people.

With the release of the MUCH anticipated Warhammer (which I personally can't wait) I think they will lose at least a million accounts there unless something is done in regards to balance, which is hard to get in both aspects of pvp and pve but must be done somehow to maintain and perhaps get more fans back into WoW.

The expansion was fun was about a week but most of us found very soon that it was nothing more than a patch over a much larger wound for Blizzard and something must be done.

Enough ranting, good luck to you Blizzard but I seeing a dying game.

With the release of the expansion we raised all realm player caps as the expansion added new land mass. This was really made possible by our server upgrades leading up the expansion allowing us a lot of head room in the way of supporting what we wouldn't have been able to when the game originally launched. With the player cap increases even realms that would be considered high population now generally can still hold a lot more. We also took steps before and after the expansion to successfully disperse population, which additionally helped the higher population realms work down to a more moderate level. So, I wouldn't judge player population by new realms being released or not as we're not in the same situation we were as far as what a single realm is capable of pre-expansion.
