New raid boss: Illidan, major lore figure
Reason for killing: OMG they went crazy

New raid boss: Zul'Jin, reputed Troll hero
Reason for killing: OMG they went crazy

New raid boss: Archimonde, a lore figure who is pre-emptively slated for defeat
Reason for killing: OMG they went crazy (apparently the Infinite Dragonlfight is OMG they went crazy enough to tamper with the timeline that is apparently not tampered with)



C'Thun and Nefarian had plans and motives for the World (of Warcraft), which is why it was both fun and interesting to fight to take them down.

We need better justifications for killing lore figures other than OMG they went crazy

No one has said that Zul'jin went crazy. The only thing we've said so far is he has always had an agenda.

As I said in another thread. True evil is rare. Insanity, corruption of good intentions, those are not quite so rare.

Um no. Malygos was damaged by Deathwing. He's going to be regaining his senses (you'll see it in a future manga)... when he does, he's not going to be happy with the rampant use of magic. His motivations are from a sane mind if a bit ... hrmm.. misdirected perhaps.

Mayhap you should change your shout to Vol'jin. He did (at the least) give you your first real home in Sen'jin Village.
