I was attempting to purchase Blizzcon tickets through the Blizzard store, but even after trying 2 different credit cards, I received an error message saying that my request could not be processed. I checked the numbers, addresses and everything seems fine. Please help !

Hey there, everyone!

We are well aware of an issue preventing players from purchasing Blizzcon tickets. Our Web Administrators are working as quickly as possible to remedy the issue, but I'm afraid there is no ETA at this time.

**Please be aware that Billing and Account Services and the In-Game Support Department will be unable to provide assistance with ticket purchasing until this issue has been resolved.**

We sincerely appreciate your patience.

Updates will be provided as soon as possible.

To be clear, we believe that that account creation and login issues are related to the same issue that is causing ticket purchasing errors. With that being said, we're working as quickly as possible to address this.

I realize many of you are frustrated or are just looking for ways to pass the time; however, organizing massive demonstrations on any single realm is not a good idea. Demonstrations such as this have a negative impact on thousands of players and can be considered Zone/Area Disruption.

I highly recommend that you not participate in these sorts of gatherings as it can result in account action.

Thank you all for your understanding.

Oh, come now.

Expressing frustration is perfectly acceptable; however, when you start negatively impacting another player we need to step in. It is for this reason that we must discourage massive demonstrations.

This morning, we experienced some technical difficulties with ticket sales for BlizzCon. Please be aware that no tickets were sold during the service interruption. If you reached the confirmation screen but did not receive an email receipt, the order did not go through.

We have found and addressed the source of this morning’s issues, and ticket sales are now functioning correctly (though extremely high traffic volumes may still result in occasional delays). We’d like to apologize for the inconveniences caused by these issues, and to thank you for your patience as we resolved them.

Reythur can you comment about the login failed issue? So far I have been here since early morning and haven't logged in once. Just wondering if that will be fixed when the other issues are fixed?

Any issues that are being experienced are part of the entirety. They're all being addressed.

It appears that some of you were able to get your tickets while the store was up briefly; that makes me happy. Please note that they're still doing maintenance on the store and it's possible that making it active is part of the testing process. Any complications that may arise are likely to fall under the same circumstances as the ones experiences earlier in the day.

Again, I'll provide more information when it's available.

If you have not received a confirmation e-mail it is possible that the transaction did not completely process; you'll need to either wait to see if it gets sent once the store comes back up or call our Billing department in the morning. Adversely you could go through the process again, but this may incur additional pending payments. Please be aware that any held payments need to be addressed through your credit card company first; they will inform you how to proceed after that.

Checking your orders history may also provide additional information; apparently checking this on the EU store works as well.

Q u o t e:
How many tickets are left. I dont want them to go in this "testing" phase.
