The Stave Of Equinex

So ok i got this quest in ferelas, The Stave Of Equinex, so i went and completed it, got 6800xp when i made the Stave by the monolith, now that was it, the quest disappeared from my quest log, i looked it up on thotbott, and well im supposed to get the quest The Morrow Stone, (which i have in my inventory, so i take it back to Troyas Moonbreeze in ferelas and he is not selectable? Oh and another thing when i clicked the monolith and got the Morrow Stone My Stave of equines disappeared!! and it says i need both of these to compete the quest!????????/

WHAT DO I DO?
