Distance limit on gifting RaF levels?

Hopefully that title sets this topic apart a little bit. :)

Anyway, I've ran across this question a couple times now and I don't recall seeing it in any of the FAQs, sooo:

What is the distance limit on gifting levels? Do the two characters need to be within Inspect distance of each other? Or could you gift the level while one character is in STV while the other is in Tanaris?

Also, just for the possible blue confirmation: A Recruit Account levels two brand new characters all the way to 60. Thus, each recruit character may gift 30 levels. The Veteran Account creates a new level 1 character. Can the Recruit use his two character's stored levels to nigh-instantaneously level the Veteran's new character to 60?

I thought I saw a conflicting report somewhere, so I'd appreciate confirmation. Thanks! :)

Q u o t e:
Either way, Huan (in that thread) brings up the point that if the levels disappear at 60, no one could possibly grant 30. The max you could grant is 29.

They only disappear if the character you are trying to grant them to is level 60; no one has said that you have to grant all the levels to a single character. ^_^

I see the distance inquiry... I think I've missed the other one. o.O

You need to be close to them; more than likely standing within inspection range.

I do believe that the maximum number of levels that can be granted to a single character is 30.
