Naxxramas 40-man, gone forever?

I don't know if it's even been asked... it seems apparent to me that it'd be gone forever once it moves to northrend, but I can't recall a time an instance has ever poofed out of existance in favor of a new, probably very different, version of it. So are we still going to be able to get into old naxx or is it gone forever?

The original iteration of Naxxramas will be gone. The floating citadel has moved to Northrend and its inhabitants await some fresh visitations.

So....effectively, it will now be impossible to attain Tier 3 gear?

These sets will be updated and still available in Naxxramas. The citadel has simply moved onto the most strategic location to serve the will of the Lich King.

I'll beat a 10 man version, you are making no sense, I also want the option of running a 20 level old version to.

You will not have that option. The storyline for the Scourge will continue to unfold in Wrath of the Lich King and the floating citadel is moving to reflect that.

Deadmines and Blackwing Lair are not movable locations, nor would there be any present reason to remove these places altogether. It's not valid to liken us moving a movable Scourge city and retuning it a bit to altogether removing a different dungeon for no current purpose.

Why change an entire zone of quest texts when you could just leave it be?

As far as I know most NPCs have remained in LH, if anyone has a link stating otherwise I'd love to see it. It would at least make this change not so silly.

Eastern Plaguelands will be the starting zone for Death Knights. We're not going to just cut a chunk of content from the zone and leave it be. The citadel is moving and the updates to the zone will make the story cohesive.

Based on some of your posts it sounds like you'd prefer to see "classic WoW" realms on which to play. We have no current plans to do something like this.

But if there's holes or good items missing (naxx recipees, corrupted ashbringer quest*, atiesh*) then ill be a bit annoyed, especially if we still have NPC's talking about the Naxx invasion.

* If they give an actual warning what they do with these fine, but if on release you just can't get them anymore that's kinda stupid.

We're not yet ready to release more information about Naxxramas itemization.

What do you plan to do to the Light's Hope Chapel quest hub?

The quest hub will remain. Players working through the Death Knight quests might find that some major events transpire there though. ;)

Don't tell the Caps King I said "Death Knight."

So will I be able to just walk by the Mobs in Naxx on my Death Knight? Just whistle and act as if nothing is unusual? Cuz I mean there are plenty of other Bad DK's in Naxx. Or is there some Lich King Database on good DKs?

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Naxxramas will still be hostile territory for Horde and Alliance regardless of whether or not one is a Death Knight.
