I like to think I'm a pretty easy going player, if I see someone fighting near a node I'll stand and wait and to see if they're going to interact with it. Sometimes I get lucky and they just happen to be fighting near it, and then I yell out "Score one for ME!" and then remember that I'm by myself, and I probably shouldn't be yelling at 3AM. If I see a mark I'll generally leave it alone, and I would like to think that most players are courteous enough to do the same. Really though manners can only be reinforced so much with mechanics, and if you're running into a lot people that are hitting your marked hunts then it may be best to tap them and set the mechanic that's used for this purpose against them. At least you have some near-instant tapping ability from range, which I see as a big enough offset already to those rare cases where someone may hit something you just recently marked.

If you want this mob you better get in line.
