Much too hot! Frying eggs at 9 a.m. on a sidewalk is not a nice thought. Don't tell me it doesn't happen because I've seen a news crew do it before!

Neth, Austin is quite hot in the summer. Average daytime highs are in the mid 90s and the humidity is high enough to create a nice sauna effect. It's not exactly Southern California.
