Is it ONLY M+? What about raid gear? M0 gear? What of WQ BiS stuff? Like the https://www.wowhead.com/item=184842/instructors-divine-bell which I use at 184 iLVL over my 213 trinkets.

I can tell you now if raid gear can not be upgraded the same than people who suck at PVP (like me who is stuck at 1600 rating) will end up simply pushing M+ and never going back to PVP or raiding for gear.

It’s a mixed bag here, I am happy I can push M+ again, but also not happy. I have 3 pieces of gear only that has come from M+ and 1 item from M0, plus 3 from raid.

If I cannot upgrade M0 or raid gear than I literally have 3 pieces of gear I can upgrade and will have to go back into M+ just to find more gear that can be upgraded. Whereas if Valor was a thing from day 1 like Conquest than I may never have gone into PVP and would have taken all the PVE stuff from the vault, and also pushed harder for KSM.

This should simply be changed to be the exact same as PVP, Valor capped per week on the gear you can buy from a vendor and a secondary ‘capped’ currency we can use to upgrade that purchased gear.

The breaker here is:

  • How much cap?
  • Is there a catch up to get this up to date with the PVP gear and make it fair? Or are we going into yet another corruption vendor issue where if you did the right thing you fell behind?
  • Is M0, WQ and Raid gear going to be upgradable?

Hello.

Please note that you will not be able to upgrade items that dropped before patch 9.0.5.

While we have technical reasons for this, we also want to avoid the feeling that you should go through months of item history and stuff your bags and your bank in preparation for this.

In-game, items that can be upgraded will be clearly labeled as such.
