Question about Rogue Hero Ability

Rogues can use this ability to put a dagger into play or raise the daggers atk by 1. Does this apply to rogue class card daggers as well?

Such as: Assasin's BLade or Perdition's Blade. If I have one of these in play can I use the rogue ability to up the card in play by 1?
