We're asking for your best class specific websites to put together as a Community Spotlight. Who do you go to for your best shaman information? Who is it that gives you that edge when playing your hunter? Let us know here about that site you've found to be the most useful for you and your adventures throughout Azeroth.

*Please remember we are looking for class specific sites and not general information sites.

I do not know what to think about this post.

Part of me is happy that blizz want's to get outside there own bubble, and get some new fresh info.

The other has me pissed, because the fan base has been doing this for years and shows in the lack of work Blizz has to do because of other people taking on un-needed work to promote a game the enjoy.

And I bet you will see more nerfs than buffs, more bandaids than fixes from this little search Blizz is doing.Because all the info Blizz needs to tweek< classes is on the forums and has been for years.

I hate to squash any conspiracy theories but gamers blogging and creating fansites to promote their favorite games and create micro-communities has been going on since the dawn of online gaming. It is a labor of love I personally know all too well.

In this case, we thought it would be great to take this opportunity to give credit to those sites that players have found helpful and informative as well as let others who may not know about these sites know about them and where to find them.

Hey I have been considering constructing my own fansite/warlock site type deal for a long time. Would using a hosting site be appropriate or do you suggest buying my own domain?

It depends on your level of commitment and what you want to spend on running a site. I'm sure that many of the various site operators that frequent these forums might be able to give you a bit more information if you get in touch with one of them. There are some great hosting sites and deals on domains if you decide you want to invest a bit more into it.

We also have the WotLK Fansite Kit should you want to use any of the assets from there as well as it has a bit more information on using any Blizzard content and information.

Good luck whatever you decide!
