So check out some of these videos of what other classes can do in the expansion. I know, I know. Beta isn't over yet, and there are still more changes to come. But seriously, check these out. Mages aren't looking so hot anymore. I'm glad I have a 70 paladin and 70 rogue in the event that I dump my mage after nearly 4 years of playing it as my main. Or maybe I'll just reroll warrior or death knight.

We are in beta. The idea of beta is to see how things balance out, get feedback from testers, and work to get everything where we feel it should be so that we can release the expansion to live. I would suggest everyone please try to keep this in perspective any time they post about what they are seeing being reported from the beta.

Keep in mind, when we say "polish" that it could mean a bit more than what you're thinking. I can't answer that specifically for you all, but this does seem like a lot of preemptive upset. Yes, I understand your feelings on what was said or happened in the past. Like every class, mages have gone through many changes from being maybe too powerful to maybe not doing as much damage as they'd like and being seen as underpowered.

Please feel free to continue giving constructive feedback based on experience within the beta (on the beta forums) and if you aren't in the beta yet, please do keep tabs on things and when you do get in (if you do) please feel free to experience what is being worked on and see if your ideas have changed or not.

In the meantime, you can still feel free to discuss this all here as well, but we really do want to make sure everyone keeps things in perspective and speaks from experience as much as possible.
