How do you respond to annoying people?

You know the beggars, the "run me through SM for free PLZZZZ" and the people bold enough to beg for the "run me through SM for free PLLLLZZ"...

I'm trying to be normally polite... I'm the GM of a guild so I'm trying to be politically correct most of the time, but sometimes it just burns to respond to that person how annoying he is... If they don't quit I like to make them wait and ends the conversation with: You know you would have made twice the amount of money you are asking me if you would have played instead of begging left and right?

I'm pretty sure some people are more original than me so any funny story or ways to answer... I might borrow one of them one day ;)

Ban and delete. Oh wait, that's not in game. ;)

Generally, if I have a little cash to spare and am in the right mood, I'll give a little. If I don't have the time to help someone through an instance, I simply tell them that I'm busy with other things and that I'm sorry I couldn't help more.

I try not to assume that everyone is an alt trying to get a free handout and realize that sometimes people just need a little help if they are starting the game for the first time or are starting fresh on a new realm.

Of course, I've seen more creative things like people sending the beggar on a mission of some sort to bring them 'x' item provided it's within their means to do so. This way the person giving cash or help feels like the other person at least earned it.

Q u o t e:

Aye.

Most of the time i base my answer on how well they ask, if they ask "can u runz me thru deadminez plx?" I'll generally say no. Whereas if they ask "Hi there, could you run me thru deadmines please?" I'll probably say yes :)

I agree. It's in the tone. You can generally tell which people are a bit more sincere than others.
