**Server Hamsters On Strike** [Realm Issues]

PETA is apparently after Blizzard because they mistreated their Hamsters that power the servers

A large amount of servers are currently experiencing various log in problems

So far this is what we have:
~Getting to character list, logging in and getting stuck with loading bar at end, then getting d/c ~15 min later
~Getting stuck at retrieving character list
~Logging in game, but no NPC's or other character interaction

please post your server and problem in this format - no more or less information

Our folks are on this as we speak - and yes, it's pretty much everywhere.

Just a heads up for anyone that was in a BG or Arena when this started - once realms have returned - if you find you cannot log into those specific characters, please log onto another character and submit an ingame petition detailing the character name of that toon, and your realm (if different).

Now if the work was exceptional then thats another thing. If the fix was quick, I would thank them. If I found out that the problem was massive and they busted their ass above and beyond normal, Id thank them. Chances are, neither will happen. Its already too late for the first.

Just posted an update above folks.

Rolling restarts will be commencing in approx 15 min as scheduled.

Any leftover oddities or latency issues - that should address.

If you notice anything out of the ordinary after the realms come back up, please do keep up posted.

Stuck at the loading screen, was able to log on a few minutes ago though.

Checking on Oceanic now. I didn't think they were originally scheduled for the same batch - but given what has just transpired, that might have changed.

Time: 5am EST - 9am EST *Current*

If you find yourself still unable to log into that character, please place an ingame petition in - naming that character/realm and asking to be moved.

Unfortunately, if you are inside a BG or Arena and it has issues, this can happen. I do apologize for the inconvenience.

A Game Master will be with you just as quickly as possible to move your character to another location.

You do not have to be online for this process, as long as we know who needs to be moved.

From the looks of things, Ryaku, I'm unable to verify any signs of a large number of players disconnecting at once. It appears that you may be having a more technical issue with your connection to the realm. I would suggest contacting Technical Support using one of the following methods:
