My Account Has Been Hacked. :(

I don't know what to do...

My account name is "EDITED" -- I won't post the password. Obviously.

For some reason, the e-mail I registered the account with was hacked, apparently I had some e-mails saved in there from Blizzard. I have a HOTMAIL account. I figure whoever hacked/keylogged me, knew I had a WoW account through my e-mail, because I had saved e-mails in there from Blizzard.

At any rate, I tried to log in, and all of my information is changed. I didn't authorize a change-of-email or name transfer, so I am wondering about what I can do?

My main character, Oobink on Feathermoon in the Nine Princes guild has been online, I've viewed him from this, my second account (daughter's account) and I am not sure what to do.

Can someone help me???

I know this is stressful - but there are pretty clearcut methods of dealing with this - they just need to be done in the proper order for the best outcomes.

Step one - Identifying the security breach - and amending it. Scan your system, etc - changing your email completely is never a bad idea.

Step two - regain control of our account. In your case - this looks like the thief has already changed the email, so contacting billing on the phone is the best way to resolve that normally.

Step three - report any damages to the account once you get back in control.

Since this has been banned for doing BAD THINGS â„¢ by the person that took control, that also adds an additional wrinkle. Account Administration may be the ones to get your email sorted out - but billing could walk you through that process. AA only deals in emails - and they can only correspond with the email on the account, so that really needs to be dealt with first.
