Stealing enchant mats not against ToS?

A character by the name of <removed> on Bladefist - Horde US server duped an unwitting person into giving him mats for an enchant he lied about being able to do. Hundreds of gold worth of mats for a high level enchant. It was brought up in trade channel, where he claims he does it all the time, and has never gotten in trouble with GMs for it because the person willingly gave the mats to him. Is this really not a violation of ToS? I have multiple screenshots of him confessing to the theft.

This is indeed a serious offense and should be reported by the player that was victimized.

Let me also take a moment to encourage folks to

A) do a quick armory search on anyone purporting to have high level crafting skills. That's not an absolute guarantee, but it can help point up possible red flags.

B) make sure you have a nice, clean, clear agreement - and acceptance in chat. I am giving you these mats for X enchant and X gold - agreed? And make sure they acknowledge it. Just makes life SOOO much simpler for everyone involved.
