As you can see, i'm a warrior which means that usually warriors don't have skinning as a profession, so please don't comment saying "you're not a hunter!" or "Why are you skinning?'
I have a worgen hunter and he skins so yeah. Anyways whenever I come across a skinnable animal or creature a I skin it. Right? So why do paladins and warriors start freaking out if I skin their kill? It's not like they can skin beasts, so why can't I? Is there a reason they should need their kill just lying on the ground there? Please give me a reason why a PALADIN OR A WARRIOR should need a dead SKINNABLE animal. If you have had this happen to you please explain what they said, did, and what YOU did.

If somebody is still standing over it, leave it be, If they walk away skin it.

That was my rule-of-thumb when out in the world with a character that has skinning. Some daily quest areas can be a gold mine. :D
