I was wondering if I could get a blue response to the no consortium gems on Feb 1st and now Mar 1st and if the problem is going to be fixed.

Folks, we're looking into this. There appears to be an issue, and this information is being passed along to our development staff. I am terribly sorry. :(

Folks, I regret to say there is an issue with the Gems being acquired by players that have completed the proper quests of the Consortium faction. The developers are aware of this and it will be resolved in a future patch.

Unfortunately we do not have an ETA on when the issue will be resolved, I am sorry. They are working to track down why players are not consistently receiving these gems. As soon as that is done and tested they will push the update through in a patch.
Q u o t e:

blizz is lazy about updating lots of stuff, such as my guild name in these forums, I haven't been in Jahalpino for weeks now.

Please do not confuse laziness with the immensity of the job; I don't know if you have noticed, I would think you have considering you have seen a good deal of the game at 70 but Azeroth and the Outlands are huge. There are many many many features and each one interacts with another, when a bug is reported it must be reproduced, tracked down and fixed. Fixing it requires testing to make sure it does not affect any other system.

Laziness has always been to me someone who shows very little effort or desire to work on improving themselves or their surroundings. To each their own I suppose.

Your avatar update issue is covered in the thread below.

I would suppose the creation of a new quest would take just as long if not longer to implement, Catteeka.

This is a high priority issue though and a resolution will be introduced as quickly as possible.

Q u o t e:
I think the reason a lot of us are frustrated is that on February 1st the same outcry went out, and people said "the gems are BUGGED" and we got the same response:

"Whoops we'll fix that for you soon."

How do we know April will be any different?

May?

June?

Where does this end?

It ends when the resolution is found for the issue and is added to the game. I don't want to give you a flippant response, Dankjlls, I completely understand your frustration with this. I'm afraid I have no time frame though, I am sorry.

Stack, I honestly have no idea, I have been surprised before but in this case I'm afraid that it is probably a remote possibility.

Tornblack, that is an excellent suggestion and one befitting our lovely Suggestion Forums.

We have not seen any blue on this in a while any new updates? I think most people are conserned with wether or not we will be getting reimbursed for prior months gems. I would be very dispointed if i was not reimbursed. So far there is talk of fixing bug but, is blizz going to even seriously make an attempt to reimburse?

I know of no plans to offer reimbursement for whatever gems have heretofore been unavailable due to this issue; for this I genuinely apologise. Steps have been taken in our efforts to resolve the matter in an upcoming content patch, however, so it should not persist beyond that time.

Just read over the official patch notes located

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=94203802

And says nothing of Gezhe, Aeris Landing, or of Consortium Rep in relation to Gem bags.

Sadly, some changes are inadvertently omitted from the patch notes; if current testing of the functionality in the upcoming content patch bears out, players should indeed be able to access the "Membership Benefits" quest offered by Gezhe at Aerie's Landing with the advent of 2.1.0. Cheers. :)
