I have filed in game tickets asking if it is possible to change tailoring specializations.

I have recieved an answer of yes and no.

Which one is it?

Is it possible without dropping tailoring and starting all over again?

My issue is with gm's telling me that it is possible through an npc. However, this npc remains "undiscovered".

I want to know if they are lying to me so I can begin blowing all my money on tailoring....again.

Please give me a blue post. I only need a yes/no and why gm's are giving false information.

This system is slightly more complicated than is being described here. Dropping tailoring (or any other profession) does not automatically reset your specialization. That is independent and simply dropping and working up a specialization would in essence result in you being the same specialization as you were before. However in this case being required to drop tailoring is considered the "price" to allow you to then interact with the tailoring specialization NPCs and then re-specialize via a new dialog option that you will be able to see once you have undertaken this first task.

I hope this helps to clarify.

If I am understanding this correctly, you are saying that releving tailoring is the only way to change specializations? I guess that isn't so terrible, I just wish the in-game gms would have told me that.

Once you have dropped and re-leveled Tailoring, you can head the the Tailoring NPCs in lower city and "discuss" with them what path you now want to change to.

I'm afraid all these wonderful ideas and requests for specialization will need to go to our Suggestion Forums, folks.
