Common sense would dictate that it would be impossible to sell someone a character trait and plausible understanding of a phenomenon and therefore it would actually be possible to sell someone common sense if they have none; although, that does not mean that it would be morally correct. In an amoral society it is very possible that this would be deemed 'okay', but that would mean that it is not an amoral society as what actually discerns and decides upon the 'amoral' nomenclature. Unless, of course, it was the distinct lack of morality, but in a specific case who is to decide what morality is decides society itself? Can an amoral society be amoral when the morality of actions is eventually determined to be something in line with the amorality of it's residents?

We all have our limitations, but I believe that we can generally place ourselves in their shoes most of the time; granted, some folks tend to go about it the wrong way, but they usually just want to play. =/
