A Concise Question

I recall maybe 2 to 3 weeks ago you saying something along the lines that Devs would be analyzing threat/rage mechanics. I would like to know if this is still the case or if any other warrior mechanics are (still) being looked at.

*I know this is a long shot, but I feel a concise, non-sentimental post may result in a serious answer.

There are things being worked on. We just don't have details right now but more will be made available before too long. It's just important not to expect massive blanket changes that revolutionize any one class. We are continuing to work on various class issues and game issues. We're still reading and asking questions.

Wow. Nice. I think we would all love to know where these questions are being asked so we can answer them.

Neth, did you lose the weekly poker game at headquarters? Seems we get one post a week that really isn't a post at all.

Btw, I dig the soothing blue text. It makes me feel "ok" inside!

As in, we (the Community Team) continue asking questions on your behalf. We just don't always (obviously) have things we can tell you right away.

No, I didn't lose any sort of game nor was I "sent" like people tend to imply. We all make it around to the various forums as we can. I thought I would at least follow-up in here and let you know things were still progressing and you will be seeing more things as we go along here. I'd much rather say something even if it doesn't seem signfiicant than say nothing at all when I get the opportunity. Others disagree and feel we should only say something when it's signficant. We can't please everyone unfortunately.

I appreciate that your at least trying to respond. I can also still be grumpy over the fact that there's no substantive answer yet. These are not mutually exclusive views.

Don't worry. I don't mind when people are passionate about how they feel (even when grumpy.) What I don't appreciate are personal attacks or attacks on job performance. There is a venue for voicing feelings on job performance and personal attacks never have their place.

Please also keep in mind that we may take an idea or a feeling to the rest of the team and show evidence of threads in which players feel a certain way (which we often do) and the rest of the team may still feel it's not what they want. They may need a little time to get at the 'problem' from a diffferent direction to make it work for them and for the game as a whole. It's not that we aren't listening, it's just that sometimes we disagree. We do what we can to answer people when we disagree with an idea and can say why we disagree, but that doesn't always satisfy people either.

I completely understand your frustrations and where you are coming from as does the rest of the team. This is just a large process that takes into account many factors which include present gameplay and future development goals as well. We'll keep on doing what we can. Some of you might despise the messenger and feel responses are canned or repetitive but we are doing what we can to keep you aprised of everything we can. We do care even if some feel we don't.

See you say alot of things that you do but you don't make that process transparent to us. I would love to see posts *forwarding this thread to the dev team* and would be alot more responsive to you. But you don't do that, you come on and say *things are being looked at*...which tells me nothing...what is being looked at, where are you getting these things. Be more transparent and you find a happier community.

Actually, I have said when I've forwarded particular threads before. They often get buried though.

Edit- Also, evidence in the form of constructive feedback via numbers, experiences, specs etc. The more information on people's experiences the better.
