Paid Character Transfer with giftcard

I got a giftcard from my family today and it was for $25.00 I was going to use it for a paid character transfer so I did and tried to use it. But then It said I cant use it because $1.00 was taken off the debit card. This is very disapointing cause I was really looking foward to this transfer for a long time...

Why wasnt I told It would take 1.00 off my card!?

It sais the price is 25.00 but its actually 26.00 dollard and now i am out of luck and very dissapointed :(

To do an immediate transfer you will need $25 for the transfer, $1for the authorization temp-charge and enough money to cover local tax (if applicable). I'm fairly certain that a $50 giftcard will be more than enough.

I guess it would depend on the gift card provider. It may be in your best interest to browse the web for more information on how to purchase gift cards. :)

While i'm on this topic, why cant the transfer only cost 20$ so people can use 25$ gift cards instead of wasting 25 dollars?
