A week or so ago I got a pet biscuit loot card from the TCG. I had talked to friends who had used the loot before to make sure I didn't have to have cooking or anything special before hand to receive the item in game.
I go through the steps on the Worldofwarcraft.com website, followed by the in game steps to get the biscuit. I get to Booty Bay and enter the code, only for nothing to happen. I tried the code a few more times, still nothing. I even opened my bag to double check for space, and proceed to Copy and past the code from the WoW.com page in to the box. Still nothing. I attempted a few more times before giving up.
A friend was on and I asked him to come try - cause if at least he got it I would know the system wasn't completely screwed. He managed to get the biscuit.
At the time my character was a lvl 38, without Cooking as a skill. Did that have any effect on it? Why wasn't I able to get the cookie?
I've since received other loot cards, but I am afraid to use them because of this issue.
