For those that don't know, FlagRSP is used by roleplayers to enhance their presentation of their characters to others with the addon (incl such features as a last name, roleplaying 'status', and physical description i.e. scars, etc).
The FlagRSP description in question is (the particular sexual act is described in paragraph 5):
((GMs, I understand if you need to edit this out after seeing it)).
The Harrasment policy states:
Q u o t e:
Extreme Sexuality/Violence
This category includes both clear and masked language which:
* Refer to extreme and/or violent sexual acts
* Refer to extremely violent real life actions
If a player is found to have used such language, he/she may:
* Be temporarily suspended from the game
* Be given a Final Warning, any further ToU violations will result in permanent suspension
While these repercussions may seem harsh, we feel very strongly that this language has no place within Azeroth due to its extremely offensive nature.
My interpretation is that if a player uses extreme sexually explicit language or descriptions - whether or not that is used in a public channel, via whisper, or through a third-party addon - that individual may be punished (since they're still using the game to communicate). However, others are unsure if the content allowed by third-party addons is reportable, even though the actual communication is made through the game.
In instances such as this, what does Blizzard recommend players do if they object to such content:
a) Turn off the addon (preventing them from enjoying the addon with legitimate roleplayers).
b) Ticket the individual, as per the policy above (do we need to warn the individual first?)
c) /ignore that individual.
d) Some other option?
