Epic Flying Mount... why bother?

Ok... other than sitting around on them... why even bother with epic flying mounts?

You cant use them in Azeroth.

You cant use them in Bgs.

Im sorry Outland is not so large that I cant get on a Flight path a be somewhere in 2 mins.. then ride 30 secs.

As far as the intances that require a flying mount... thats a 14 sec ride from a flight path....

If you want to fly faster than your normal flying mount then that's why you would bother. The epic isn't required for anything, but it's a pretty nice upgrade if you find yourself using your flying mount quite a bit. If you don't think it's really a necessary investment for you then you've made your choice, and I wish you happy hunting and good luck in your adventures.
