Could each class just have one day?

Just for one day a month per class, where the CMs venture into class forums, and discuss things.

Not asking for promises or what not, maybe even just opinions...

Like on a random friday out of the month, a blue CM wanders in and looks at topics of interest, if the topic is good, they contribute to the discussion.

It gives each class a certain level of hope that at least they're looking at the forums.
.

Even if it's just opinion pieces, some people post some great ideas in their respective class forums, and we don't know if anyone is looking at em.

Just an "I think that's a good idea" or "I'll forward this idea to the dev's"... or even a "I don't think this will work" is all anyone is asking for.

Anything at all

It just gives a ray of hope that someone important is watching.

Your ray of hope may be someone elses letdown. Answers often take time and people tend to see blue and think it means they will get all of the answers they want right away. We do what we can and post where we can to try to help out. I've posted things saying I'm reading and forwarding ideas and feedback only to have people ask for proof or tell me it's not good enough. It doesn't stop me from continuing to do what I can, nor does it stop anyone else on the team.

I appreciate what you're saying and there are many others that are like you, but there are many others that don't feel that's good enough and probably never will.

So in other words there are reasonable members of your player base (those who would consider Blue participating in discussions about the class as just that... a non-binding discussion) and then there are unreasonable members of your player base (those who would get worked up over such a discussion and try to twist, bend, or interpret your words and then hold you to them).

Sounds like you have decided to cater to the unreasonable.

Please reconsider. Those of us who are mature and reasonable and would prefer and enjoy some honest give and take about the game, its direction, and our classes should be your priority. Not the lunatic fringe.

Please note that I said it doesn't stop us any. I'm just pointing out that for some it's enough. For others it never is.

I took the time to respond because I thought it would be a nice thing to do to explain why things aren't done a certain way. I appreciate that people feel the need to explain how we should be doing our jobs and feel they can appropriately critique management, however if you really wish to share some feedback on these things there is an email to do that at.

wowcmfeedback@blizzard.com for feedback on Community Team performance. Please note that while emails sent to this address will likely not receive a response, each one will be read and handled accordingly.

No, I'm not blowing off people's concerns but feel that if you have some feedback on job performance either positive or negative that you feel is valid, that email address is really the best place for it.
