IP Ban is ridiculous...

This IP Ban is getting rediculous. My other account got banned for 72 hours because I played in another location other than where I usually play. They didnt bother asking me or emailing me first they just assumed it was a hack and banned me fore 72 hours. Meanwhile I am still paying for WOW during my ban time with no warning. So now they expect me to only play wow in one place? I thought this game was meant to be fun, not meant to be a game with the worst security a company can offer.

Try again Blizzard, you are wrong. I read you TOS, nowhere does it say I cannot play anywhere I choose. And no where does it say that Blizzard is allowed to harrass the customers and steal their money. I will be filing a complaint.

Hey there, Carthriann. If you're still around, would you mind providing me with a character name and realm from the suspended account so that I may look into this? Thanks!

I was able to find the associated account, Carthriann, and would like to clarify a couple of concerns you have.

Of course not. You are more than welcome to play WoW from multiple locations around the world while traveling for whatever reason. Please carefully note that this does not mean you are allowed to hire a company across the globe to play your character for you. Should you feel this does not apply to your situation, please explain to me how you managed to play for 23 hours on the other side of the globe in one day while still managing to login in for less than an hour in the United States so that I may further review this case.

If you feel this situation has occurred due to the compromising of your account by a third party, that's a different matter. Most companies that would maliciously "hack" an account, however, would not take the time to level a player's character as rapidly as possible without removing any gold from the character's inventory. We are doing everything we can to protect each player's account. Having said that, we cannot protect a player from paying someone else across the world to play the account. We may suspend the account though.
