Kalgan: Why is Gear Swapping enabled on PTR?

Right now, on the PTR, you can swap gear in arenas after the match has begun. Kalgan made several posts indicating that the plan was to disable gear swapping in Arena matches after the match had begun.

So, Kalgan, what happened? Did you reconsider? Is this a bug? Is there a technical issue preventing it from being implemented? Is this coming in a later build on the PTR for patch 2.2, a later patch, never, WOTLK?

Please provide the relevant information.

Oh and let me just get the rest of this thread out of the way.

lvl 1 alt: gear swapping is overpowered wah wah wah
lvl 1 alt: warlocks are overpowered wah wah wah I need to be able to swap in my pacifier in pvp

Hrm, I don't believe there was any indication that it was definitely coming for patch 2.2.

I believe the intention was to have it come at the same time as the resilience change, so it may either just not be live on the PTRs yet, or just couldn't make this patch.

Just as an FYI voice chat still isn't live on the PTRs. 2.2 has a while to go still.
