Just wondering if anything but more nerfs is in the pipeline

Oh and shadow priests are fine.... a lil less fine after the resistance, and shadow nerfs.... but still very viable

I actually just posted on the forum last Thursday I believe so, yes a blue has been on the forum. Posts get buried fairly quickly as you well know.

We are still taking a good look at every class. Circle of Healing (for example) is still something that we believe we'd like to adjust. How or when this will be coming about, I don't know as of yet. We will continue to follow-up on progress when we have news of it for everyone.

I realize things seem a bit bleak to people due to the fact that the first adjustment they've seen is a change to dot damage on SW:P, but that change comes very quickly after the change to the Warlock adjustments and are related. That does not mean that it's all anyone has to look forward to however.

We are continuing to funnel feedback to the rest of the team but as much as everyone hates the word "patient" we really do need people to try to be patient. The Burning Crusade has just launched last week and we are working on various aspects of bug fixes and looking at what adjustments still need made now that we are live. While I know many people believe that all should have been perfection due to beta, beta can never live up to what can happen live when the entire population is actively interacting with the content.

We don't intend to do big class reviews anymore like we did before so people will need to expect to see adjustments and changes done as they are felt they are needed. Believe me when I say, we ARE still reading and funneling information and feedback from the community to the rest of the team. Sometimes you all are going to get the answer, "yes, that's a good idea" and sometimes you will get the answer, "No, we don't like that one". It's not because we don't understand but because we are keeping an eye on a much larger picture and have to keep it all in mind.

I know you would like to hear, "hey these big exciting changes are coming" but I can't say that. I don't want to mislead anyone with information I don't have for you. When we do have information about changes we want to make or are making, we will post about it. This way it's information you can hopefully rely on or look forward to and not just an empty promise.

I hope that helps a little.

Just as a quick follow-up, I did forward on that large question thread. I don't know if or when we will get to answering them or if we will be able to answer all of them. Also, please understand that we (the community team) often get busy with many projects at once that keep us from coming back as quickly as you may like. If for some reason you don't see one of us here for a bit again, it's not intentional or a means of ignoring you all. Also, sometimes we just don't have more to add or answers to give so try to come back when we do have something to say or answers. There's no intention of leaving anyone out in the dark.

I just wanted to say that so that no one thinks we just don't care.

Q u o t e:
Nethaera I just want to say that out of all the community team you seem to be the one capable of answering our concerns and questions easily and in very well written paragraphs that come across logically and easily understandable. That being said the only questions I have is "Why aren't you our Class Rep?" and if there are still 'Class Reps' then "Why don't we see ours more like we see you on the Priest forums?"

Again thanks and nice to know CoH is being confirmed at being looked at. I just hope the Shield and Survivability of Priests as Healers can also be looked at. I think both are similar yet different in the same sense.

Edit: for grammer errors.

We don't have class reps mainly because we don't want to get tunnel vision. We need to keep ourselves aware of the many issues affecting many classes and that means being able to disconnect from your own concerns or feelings in a way that makes it possible to see what everyone else is experiencing as well. It also makes it so that we all not only are aware of what is happening for various classes, but can bring you answers no matter which one of us it is. Let's say for instance that I was the "Priest Class CM" and I couldn't post for a bit for some reason. Someone would need to be knowledgeable enough to fill in for me and be convincing. That's hard to do if you aren't aware of what is happening in that forum.

Also take into account that if we are assigned particular classes and try to respond to other class issues, people could very well dismiss us as being biased and it would negate anything we had to share or impart on that class. It puts us in a very awkward position to do our jobs effectively. We really do need to be "Jacks (or in my case Jill) of all trades" but we also are expected to be masters of all at the same time.

While it would be so very easy for us to each pick a couple of classes and just focus on that, it would also make us very limited in our effectiveness. Plus imagine the arguments over who got what! ;)

I am still reading through all the posts and taking mental notes on things just so everyone is aware. I just realized however that my list of "to dos" hasn't gotten any shorter today so if for some reason I seem silent, it's not from lack of paying attention.
