Targetable cats = sick

Bliz, what were you thinking?

I get the xpac, deside to make a Belf Pally. Everything is great, place is nice, quests good then I see that instead of rabbits or squirrels there are cats all over the starting isle. Cute I thought. There's one sleeping, nice touch.....then I realize it's not sleeping....it's f'n dead. And every sicko cat hater is swiping away at them. Please bliz, show some semblance of common sense and make the cats non targetable.
