Dissapointingly easy levelling curve

I was hoping to have a good long break from raiding to play through some fun levelling content and its like everyone is levelling so fast they don't even finish everything in a zone before they can go to the next one.

We already have multiple people who have gotten to level 70 or are close to getting 70, I'm casually playing a few hours a day after work and I still got to 62 with little effort and dumped all my Hellfire quests to go to other areas.

I am just very dissapointed with how easy the levelling curve is, it was much better in beta and more reasonable, but now its just easysauce and the new content is all able to be skipped way too fast.

Blizzard, I hope you have some ridiculously awesome level 70 content, because we'll all be getting there in no time.

By far, the largest number of players are currently between levels 60 and 62. Additionally, each level jump takes a longer period of time investment. I'd also gather that most players who are much higher have focused on little anything else other than power-leveling.

The smallest portion of the population who've reached the maximum level (or are rapidly approaching), should not be an indicator that the leveling curve is too lenient. Had we designed the time to level around the most "hardcore of hardcore", you'd probably be posting about how horrible you feel because after a couple days of playing you have two bubbles of experience.

exactly...I'm doing every single quest I can find.

I got bored for a bit in hellfire after a failed blood furnace run (got to grogguk, couldn't handle the groups before him :( ) and headed to zangarmarsh...

And ZOMG. I found that it's SOOO much more fun just to level at your own pace and explore and stuff than it is to go LELELVELVELCRAZZYYYY.

That's awesome (everything but the failed blood furnace experience). I know I'm often accused of being biased or "towing the company line" because I'm an employee of this studio, but honestly, the time I invest into this game is due to my own desire to indulge in something I love and enjoy. With that being said, I can honestly state that I'm having a ridiculous amount of fun playing the Burning Crusade. I'm 61 and six bubbles in, due to long work hours I can't play much (sleep depravation is starting to take its toll, but such is the casualties of war...), but when I'm able, I play with the same level of excitement I had when first logging into the original company employee alpha, nearly five years ago.

While I won't be the last to hit 70, I certain won't be the first. Also, I'm excited to work on reputations along the way, professions, exploring every nook and cranny of each map, making new friends, helping others, and everything else the game has to offer. I've had a blast so far questing, and even more fun running ramparts and blood furnace. I could easily run those each another dozen times before I move on.

Anyway, I ramble. My point -- the expansion's amazing. I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as myself. If you want to rush, than rush. Everyone has their own play-style, but I just hope everyone's enjoying the process. The leveling curve is perfect as is, in my own personal opinion as a World of Warcraft fanatic.

Oh, and also, Keris -- I hope you try Blood Furnace out again sometime soon -- it's so much fun. Don't let one bad experience discourage you. I've been doing pick up groups because I enjoy them (yeah, I'm sick...I know). I've wiped a few times. It's all part of the fun.

First time I've agreed with a blue.

I feel dirty.

Epsom salt, a hard bath brush and self induced vomiting should eradicate the filth you wear...

I've been playing a few hours a night since Wednesday and I'm almost at level 61. I anticipate it'll get slower from now, and that's fine. My guild is taking a relaxed view, some of us are rolling new toons, some are zooming through, some are having fun pottering around gawping at the scenery. Pretty much everyone is having heaps of fun, which at the end of the day is what's important. The squeals over the bombing quests were funny, I think everyone enjoyed those.

Oh my, Eyonix. Is that when you go to sleep with a jug of morning glory dew and wake up with the sheets all sticky?

Alright, alright -- I made a mistake. Sheesh. Edited. Hopefully now everyone will be able to live their lives and not consume themselves with my unforgivable blunder.
