Paypal subscription problem

I'm using my friend's account to post this since, obviously, I can't subscribe anymore with PayPal.

Here's the story: my free month finished some days ago.My payment method for the upcoming months was "$41.97 USD - Three Months Recurring ($13.99 per month)".I figured I'd be billed 13.99$ each month, so I put some money in my paypal balance to handle it.Sadly, it appears it wasn't enough since I got billed the whole 41,97$ after the free month.

No big deal so far, I just misunderstood a little thing.

So I'm like "oh fine, I'll just change my subscription to "$14.99 USD - One Month Recurring", since I have enough money in my balance for that ($16.28 USD).But it just won't work.I fill everything up, untill the "Account successfully activated" page.It says my account is active and all, but no money is being taken from my paypal account...and 1 hour later I receive a mail telling me the payment failed (I tried multiple times over the last 2 days and it always happen). This is not the first time I use PayPal to active an account, I've been doing it on another one for quite some times already...so I know I'm doing everything correctly.

Is there a problem with Blizzard - Paypal as of now or what?

Q u o t e:
It sounds like you already pre-paid for the 3 month plan [it's cheaper per month, because it charges you up front for the whole block of time]. You won't switch to the monthly recurrant charges now until the already paid for 3 month block runs out.

Kozzae has the right of it. :)

Recurring charges will charge your payment method for whichever plan you select (1 month recurring, 3 month recurring, 6 month recurring) on a specific day and, at this point, also charge the full amount for the duration listed. This is why the base price is noted, so you're aware of exactly how much the plan costs. In your case, this amount was $41.97. It's considered a "pre-paid" fee, so the next 3 months are yours.

Any changes made to your subscription plan now will actually stack. So, you won't be charged that $14.99 until your current 3 months expire. At that point, you'll be charged $14.99 on a monthly basis. Conversely, if you stuck with the 3-month recurring, you'd be charged every 3 months for $41.97.

Make sense? :)
