Oh well its not for me, I'm getting the phone number for a friend who can't post on the forums for an illogical and a misunderstanding post which he got banned for, and the people at wowreportedpost@blizzard aren't returning his mail, so here i am.

But Thanks for the help :)

Billing doesn't handle forum suspensions and neither does Tech Support, and those are the only departments reachable by phone.

Can you give me a rundown of the situation? What the misunderstanding was, etc?

That's the only way to contest a suspension.

Feel free! I can tell you if the emails have been received, but being answered is a different story.

It looks like he was already denied again, as recently as earlier today, and a number of times before that. Email replies and all.

Unless he can no longer check his mail, he just received a mail on 5/29. He may want to check his junk mail filters.

Ah...ok thanks for that :)...but it does make sense he said he was banned for botting and hacking for posting an image of a zebra... but if you think the ban should hold, ill call him now and tell him.

The ban wasn't for botting/hacking; it's for unreleased content. Any discussion of unreleased content, facetious or otherwise, gets squelched, and my guess is your friend did so in a particularly turbulent forum period. Unfortunate, but that's the way it is.

Hmm but his post was of him suggesting if this Zebra from the barrens could be the BE mount, but the zebra in the barrens was wow first came out... i didnt know you could get banned for that :S

Let's say you run a book company. The book series that you publish, starring a young magician and his fanciful companions, makes fantastic money worldwide. You're about to publish one of the new novels when some important information about them leaks out.

On your official forums, you have three groups of people--regular readers; those who stir up trouble by posting leaked information; and those who stir up trouble, intentionally or not, by passing off false information as "leaks".

Knowing that a good amount of people will believe what they read, especially when they think it's stuff they're not supposed to read, what action would you take?

See what I mean?
